The structure was builded in the XIX century, and it is certain that the Masseria belongs to Giuseppe Comi Baron of  Lucugnano. In the first years of the '900 all the ownerships of the baron passed to the legitimate heirs; the Masseria, that will always maintain its traditional agricultural activity, is inherited particularly by the most greater child Girolamo Comi (Casamassella (Le) 1890 - Tricase 1968).

 

In 1961 the farm was surrendered from Comi to the family De Blasi, that gave continuity to the agricultural activities for many years (cerealicoltura, olivicoltura and tobacco) and of sheeps breeding that represented the soul and the motor of the agricultural firm.

 

Farm Marianna draws its name from Mrs Marianna De Blasi, that strongly wanted to purchase the ownership in the Sixties and, pushed by a great love for her earth, she preserved the original structure and the principal agricultural function .

 

In  ninety years  the family De Blasi has begun a wise work of restructuring and improvement of all the buildings of the complex, that it has brought Agri-tour farm dipped in the silence of marvelous countries to the realization of an enchanting.
